Devon & Jacob’s Intimate Wedding at The American Hotel

My car door shuts, the engine starts, and I immediately pick up the phone to call Ellie. Smiling wide,

“Ellie, that was the best wedding I have ever been a part of.” I tell her.

“Really? What about it was so great?”

“They just really treated my more like a friend than anything else the whole day. It was so laid back, yet somehow elegant and beautiful still.”

Something about Devon and Jacob’s wedding really resonated with me, and had me full of the joy and excitement of shooting weddings again. It may have been the Pad Thai they had for dinner, the custom chairs for the ceremony, or the wine bottles on every table. But more than any of those, when couples choose to extend their friendship and kindness, it makes shooting the wedding just so much easier. I am so grateful they let me be part of this day.
