From a paternal blessing from the James’ father and tearful toasts on the evening before, to hearing about Emily’s dad planning this day with her, to trembling hands and quivering voices during private vows, to a worshipful ceremony, to three generations of faithfulness, to sending every guest home with an entire bottle of wine, this day was everything I adore about weddings. James and Emily moved through this weekend with gratitude and awe at the sturdy foundation of love they stand on, knowing it is a rare and profound gift. Capturing this wedding weekend was a delight.
